Assault Prevention for Teens

Assault Prevention for Teens is a contemporary program designed for middle school and high school students. The Assault Prevention for Teens programs teach the skills to avoid, recognize, and defensively react to unhealthy or dangerous situations.

Assault Prevention for Teens is a three-hour class addressing three areas:

  1. Raising awareness of myths and facts of rape and sexual assault
  2. Laws & legal system
  3. Prevention strategies

Common Sense Self Defense is an two-hour class, for girls only, that addresses:

  • The importance of:
    • Instincts
    • Body language
    • Personal safety choices
  • Making safety a daily priority
  • Protecting personal space
  • Basic self-defense skills

Getting Ready for College is a 3-hour workshop designed specifically for young women entering college, which focuses on practical self-defense skills and personal safety education. Each participant receives a personalized packet of information specific to her college of choice, including campus crime statistics, on-campus counseling programs, campus police information, additional safety services on campus, and on-campus self-defense training information.
