Behind the scenes at the Women’s Bureau
Since 1976, our programs have focused on filling gaps in service for women in our community. Our three core programs concentrate on intervening and advocating for women as well as helping women survive and thrive.
REACT (Formerly RAP) – the only multi-service program of its kind providing sexual violence prevention education for elementary school students through adults; Counseling sexual assault victims one-on-one and through the Rape Crisis Hotline: 426-RAPE (7273)
TRANSITIONS– a family-focused program offering the area’s only long-term facility for women recovering from addiction and their children. In 2009, Transitions served 39 women and 37 children, three drug-free babies were born in the program.
WOMEN’S ENTERPRISE – Indiana’s first women’s business center that since 1999 has provided entrepreneurial assistance and advocacy through business counseling and mentoring, technical assistance, networking, and business-oriented classes and workshops.
Be a part of the Women's Bureau. As a client, as a mentor, or as a member - WE NEED YOU.
